so….. she had a pre-existing condition and a (admittedly rude ) girl with a normal college life is being blamed? Congratulations America. Her roommate was being a typical college roommate. If that has furthered the depression of this overly sheltered girl then hopefully she is getting the help she needed before any of this happened.

I think everyone needs to look at the proof. If your child is dying and you know they are going to do so with medical treatment why sit back and do nothing. I honestly believe that they should legalize it for medicinal use if! There are too many deaths that should not occur. I am getting ready for 48 weeks of treatment. I know my life will be sheer hell because of the side effects. I wish that I could get it but in my state you can’t do it. AT ALL!

Just because a weapon looks like another weapon does not mean it is from the same category. An assault rifle is an automatic fire weapon, meaning you hold the trigger down and it continues to fire. A semi-automatic one only fires once each time the trigger is pulled. If I went by your definition, an air-soft gun, aka paintball gun that physically looks like a real gun, would be considered an assault rifle.

You may ridicule me or start some sort of debate, but I feel those are pretty clear-cut definitions.

CHL holders have the record as the most law abiding citizens in the country, how could dis-arming us make anyone safer. Does it not register to anyone that every mass shooting in this country has taken place in one of these super safe gun free zones. And people want to make the entire country a gun free zone. That is the most rediculous logic I have ever heard. Passing laws that punish the law abiding citizens will have no effect other than to empower criminals and give them a country full of defenseless victims.

Excellent article! I wish everyone had the brains to think this issue through father than “if he didn’t have a gun this couldn’t have happened”. Let’s accept the REALITY that we live in a violent society where a culture of death and lack of moral values & respect for human life result in an occasional psychopathic killing spree. Let’s also accept the reality that “when seconds matter, the police are just minutes away”. Arm yourself. You are the only protector of your life, liberty and property.
