Watch the video above, of a pro-life Christian group confronting an abortion doctor. The doctor says his abortions save taxpayers money, prevent shootings like the one in Colorado, and rid the world of “ugly black babies.”

I wonder how many abortionists and defenders of abortion hold this view of abortion’s social role. (Video via Lifesite News.)

UPDATE, 5:50 pm: The doctor in the video, apparently, is an active political donor, giving almost all his money to Democrats.

– Worried about a zombie attack? Buy zombie bullets.

Talk about zombies and a possible zombie apocalypse has increased due to recent gory accounts of drug-induced, flesh-eating attacks in the news.

Stores across the U.S., including in Metro Detroit, are getting in on the undead action by selling Zombie Bullets, made by Hornady Manufacturing.

In promoting the product on their website, Hornady suggests, “Be PREPARED – supply yourself for the Zombie Apocalypse with Zombie Max ammunition from Hornady! Loaded with PROVEN Z-Max bullets… MAKE DEAD PERMANENT!”

So, will this ammunition actually defend against the things that go bump in the night?

WWJ Newsradio 950?s Zahra Huber spoke with company spokesman, Everett Deger, who said, while the bullets are real, they’re only meant to be used on targets and not on people (or zombies).

Deger said company president Steve Hornady came up with the idea for Zombie Max bullets because of his love for zombie movies and shows.

“After it gained some acceptance among some of us here in the company got on board with the idea we decided just to have some fun with a marketing plan that would allow us to create some ammunition designed for that … fictional world,” Deger said.

He said the Zombie Max and Z-Max bullets are Horady’s most successful products.

“This is probably one of the only (product) launches that we’ve seen when people who are not in the hunting and shooting industry will go out and they will purchase this,” Deger said.

“I mean, I’ve heard of guys who buy it just because they think the packaging is cool and they set it on their cube and they don’t even own a gun,” he said. ”It has that sort of cross-market appeal, which I think is rare to find these days, where you can actually sell something that will transcend not just one market but go into several.”

In Michigan, the bullets are available at Cabela’s.

This list really should be called The DiversityInc Top 10 Companies for LGBT Employees and Allies, since companies that provide inclusive corporate cultures for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) employees report increased engagement and support from their friends and relatives as well.

The criteria for determining this list is somewhat different from the other top 10 demographic lists, since there is far less available data on LGBT people than on groups broken down by race/ethnicity or gender. To determine this list, we weigh questions from The DiversityInc Top 50 Companies for Diversity® list, including employee participation in LGBT employee-resource groups, and relevant benefits, such as adoption assistance or bereavement leave for domestic partners. Any company that does not offer same-sex domestic-partner health benefits is automatically disqualified from this list, as well as the DiversityInc Top 50 and our other related lists. We also factor in third-party information for this list, including the Human Rights Campaign’s Corporate Equality Index, and input from our LGBT partner organizations, such as the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN), Out & Equal and PFLAG (Parents, Families, & Friends of Lesbians and Gays).

Consider these aggregate facts about the companies on this list:

They average double the percentage of employees actively participating in their LGBT employee-resource groups when compared with the DiversityInc Top 50
They all have relocation assistance for same-sex partners and almost all have adoption assistance, bereavement leave and automatic 401(k) designation for same-sex partners

Maybe you should show the top 100 or top 1,000, to better help us know the companies to be employed with. Only putting “10” doesn’t give us much to choose from..
